Web developers want to maintain current web compliance standards and make websites more user-oriented in the future, according to the largest ever survey of web developers.

Two web content companies, Ektron and SitePoint, surveyed some 5,000 web developers (which includes developers who are not necessarily full-time, full throttle coders) with the intent to get feedback on best practices, technology trends and web compliance standards that are widely accepted in the profession.
